I’d rate the trail as easy overall, though scrambling up the rocks at the top can be a little challenging but totally worth it. It’s an out-and-back trail, so you can take your time on the way up and down.
Highly recommend this for anyone looking to get a taste of the mountains without a long hike. Perfect spot to sit, soak in the views, and just appreciate how amazing the Blue Ridge can be."

"So great! What a view for the payoff!! This is a must in the park. If you are traveling with children or people with mobility issues rest assured they can do the trail.
The rock scramble at the top is tons of fun but easy to navigate. We saw deer on the way down and they were not scared of people at all. Be kind!"
