While the lack of vendors and need to bring supplies are noted, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the value of the weekly pass and the well-maintained facilities. TikTokInstagramReddit

"Really great visitor center with well done interpretive displays. The grounds are clean and well kept and the bathrooms are sparkly. Jim, the volunteer, was really fun.

Not an actual ranger in sight unfortunately. Well worth the visit."

Glenn Huff

"Oh if I could bottle a portion of this place and take it home with me I would! Our first visit to this absolutely beautiful piece of the country and fell in love with it. The drive is breathtaking and the sugar white sand and blue clear waters make this place one of the prettiest I have visited on the Florida coast. If you are in a hurry this is not the place to go - speed limit is 25 to 35 for most of the way but we were okay with that as it was such a beautiful place!"

Tracey T

"This place is a GEM! For $25 you get easy parking, a shaded pavilion, clean bathrooms, and access to one of the most beautiful beaches! White sand, crystal clear water…we went two days in a row. Easily one of the best beaches in the US."
