"Really great visitor center with well done interpretive displays. The grounds are clean and well kept and the bathrooms are sparkly. Jim, the volunteer, was really fun.
Not an actual ranger in sight unfortunately. Well worth the visit."

"Oh if I could bottle a portion of this place and take it home with me I would! Our first visit to this absolutely beautiful piece of the country and fell in love with it. The drive is breathtaking and the sugar white sand and blue clear waters make this place one of the prettiest I have visited on the Florida coast. If you are in a hurry this is not the place to go - speed limit is 25 to 35 for most of the way but we were okay with that as it was such a beautiful place!"
