"My wife and I traveled all the way from Washington State to meet my parents from Colorado for the Southeast Gasser Association race, and the trip was absolutely worth it — thanks in large part to the incredible hospitality at Gulfport Dragway.
A couple of months before the event, I emailed the track to ask if they could accommodate my dad, who uses a wheelchair to get around. Gaylon responded right away, assuring me that they’d take care of us and even provided his personal cell number. The week before the race, he reached out again to confirm our plans and told me to call as soon as we arrived.
From the moment we got there, Gaylon went above and beyond — personally making sure we had everything we needed and setting us up in the best spot at the track to watch the action. Both days of racing were incredible, and the entire staff was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming.
The racing was fantastic, and the whole experience was something my wife, mom, dad, and I will cherish for a lifetime. "It's out first visit here for the Southeastern Gassers races. It's a very nice track to be on the smaller side. Extremely well managed, plenty of staff directing traffic, very clean, plenty of restrooms and parking. The only critique I have is they need to put some speakers on the side opposite of the pits. For those of us parked on the entrance side we couldn't hear the announcer. Super impressed overall though and the track looked well maintained. Everyone was hooking great."
