My 9 year old is extremely interested in sea creatures. We’ve been to a few in the Harpswell area in the past, but looking to explore somewhere new. Any suggestions? Thanks!

"Tidal falls was such a cool stop on my trip to Maine back in June! We were able to walk all along the shore and even found a couple starfish while we were there! I absolutely recommend going and i’m glad we made a last minute stop there. Definitely an unforgettable Maine experience! If you go, please remember to be careful with any starfish you find and remember to leave them where you found them or in a protected area so that they aren’t left in the open."

"Very cool rapids when the tide turns!
Absolutely love the sound of the rushing water over the rapids. Sometimes I even closed my eyes and just drifted off listening to the sound of water moving. Great place!"
Gregory P
"Watch the tide go from ripping rapids down stream to super calm as the tide ebbs and then ripping rapids up stream...what a phenomenon! Great park setting with benches and observation areas, and rocks to sit or climb on at low tide. Keep your eyes open for starfish!"
