"This place was perfect for our quick stay in Harve De Grace. It's so cool. The owner is fabulous! She is an amazing baker and cook. Our bed was super comfortable! The parking was not an issue. Plenty of open spots in front or the side of the building. We chose the room with a shared bathroom but as it turned out the other couples rented rooms with a private bathroom. So we had the large hall bathroom to oursleves and it was beautiful. It looked to me it was newly updated but she kept the theme of the house. This house was alot cheaper from other houses in the town and they looked exactly like hers, at least from the outside. Her house was super clean. I can't image how she keeps up with it because it's huge, but somehow she can do it. We decided on this town because it has a beautiful water front area. But the real reason we went to Harve De Grace was because we wanted hard shell crabs. We went on Monday and came home on Tuesday and most things are closed those days. So we went Woody's Crab House about 15 minutes away never dreaming they wouldn't have crabs. However, their crab soup was super tasty filled with crab meat. So I guess I have to say, the highlight of our outing was her house and sitting on the prominade by the water."

"Our stay at the Spencer Silver Mansion was nothing short of exceptional. We stayed in the Carriage House, which was immaculately clean upon our arrival.
The Carriage House is a gorgeous Victorian-style home with several modern amenities including complementary WiFi, a whirlpool tub, and central climate control. The Carriage House also features a private driveway large enough to accommodate two mid-sized vehicles, so street parking is not necessary. Our bed was large and comfortable, and the loft bedroom was very cozy.
The mansion itself is in a great location for those who wish to explore Havre de Grace. We did not use our vehicle at all during our say, as nearly everything of note was within easy walking distance of the mansion.
Our host, Carol, was delightful. We stayed for two nights, and each morning she delivered a delicious home-cooked breakfast to our room, along with fresh pastries that she had baked herself.
I truly have nothing bad to say about this place. It really is an outstanding value. The room was well-kept and well-stocked, and Carol made us feel very welcome. I have no doubt that we will be returning to the Spencer Silver Mansion, and I would happily recommended it to anyone."
