"It was absolutely beautiful! The trees seem extra green, through the paths! It was really relaxing and the views over the water were gorgeous! Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful time together.
I will say people don't pick up their dogs poop but other than that it's really clean. There's a trash can at the end of each "check point" so you don't have to carry your trash around the entire time. I would love to return at night to see it all lit up. We will be returning with our daughter next time. Definitely family friendly!"

"The Lake Hickory Riverwalk offers a nice afternoon walk, overlooking Lake Hickory. The trail is well marked with lighting. Can't say enough of the lake views on a sunny day. The trail is sloped but not steep. It is partially on planks and a paved service road."

"Very nice trail that has a few options for navigating. A bit of the trail sticks near the water and one end goes over the water. At the time of this review, the parking area near 321 is closed for some ongoing work but the entire trail is open, you just have to park at one of the other areas. Porta potties at the location where we parked. There is also a dock at the trailhead."
