"I went to Hickory due a wedding of friends, obviously I would take the opportunity to go around and what I found is an amazing town.
The downtown to me seems like a classic area in the U.S., what made me feel comfortable.
Some of the places that I liked is the restaurant that is in a train station, a gun the army used in the world war, the kind of stores, the walls with pictures and letters where you can take photos with your loved ones, the way they decor the area for some seasons and I think I left something to see.
I really enjoyed each day I spent there, but what I’m most thankful is that from this city came the most wonderful people that I have by my side.
Greetings from México."

"I came to downtown Hickory for one thing, which turned out it closed early.
So me and my son (he's a toddler) did some exploring so it wasn't a wasted trip. We found this place has a lot to offer!
During our walk we visited Lowe's food park, had Gelato under the Sails, and even the bridge was a sight to see!
My son was most excited to see the "Canon" as he called it. He asked "does it still shoot the bad guys!?" 🤣 I read the history plaque to him and of course I told him it could! But honestly idk 🤷🏽♂️ who am I to ruin his imagination. Lolz He still loved it either way!
All in all, The Square was awesomeness! It was worth it just to see him light up at something as small as the rocking chairs. Lolz
So if all you do is come up here to explore, it won't be a wasted trip!"

"The farmers market is great. I love getting my pork from raising roots farms and my chicken from free folk . My daughter wants the fresh squeezed lemonade. Coffee from tasteful beans. It's all great!!"
