Reviews Summary

Ginnie Springs is celebrated for its stunningly clear, 72°F water and diverse aquatic activities like tubing, snorkeling, and diving. Visitors love the natural beauty and the option to camp. However, some find it overly crowded on weekends, with concerns about noise and campsite spacing, and a few have reported negative interactions with park staff.

"Unfortunately can’t put zero stars. Ever since the owner passed this place has gone completely downhill. Family friends had been going for 20 years and said never again after this year.

We got told to turn our music down one time (@630pm) and we did! No problem at all. Quiet time comes around they check to make sure our generator is the quiet one (it is) no problem at all. At about 1am we take a little walk next to our camp site (literally 20 feet from it) and our friend has soft music playing on his cell phone. Camp guy on his little golf cart races to us and is like “THATS IS IM KICKING YOU GUYS OUT, IF YOU WANNA LISTEN TO MUSIC YOU NEED TO HAVE HEAD PHONES!!!” And told us we had 30 minutes to pack our stuff and leave … we told him that’s literally impossible and we had been drinking too and obviously should not drive. “I don’t care I’ll call the cops and they can escort you to the front and sleep in your cars till morning. “ at one point we thought this guy was just messing with us but apparently not just harassing us instead. Our friend had to literally beg and probably pay him to let us stay till the morning. We will not be back and the springs are full of tubes anyways so you barely get to experience any real beauty anymore."

"Ginnie Springs is honestly one of the most beautiful spots in Florida — the water is crystal clear, cold, and unbelievably blue. It feels like swimming in bottled spring water. The different spring areas all have their own vibe, whether you want to float, snorkel, explore, or just relax by the water.

It’s definitely a popular spot, so expect crowds on weekends, but the beauty of the springs still makes the trip worth it. The water is refreshing (and freezing at first!), but once you’re in, it’s perfect. You can see fish, underwater rock formations, and the clarity is unreal. Great for GoPro photos too.

The grounds are huge, with places to walk, grill, or hang out between swims. Camping is available, and a lot of people come for tubing down the river, which is super relaxing and one of the best parts of the park.

If you’re looking to experience that classic Florida spring water — clear, blue, and icy cold — Ginnie Springs is a must. It’s beautiful, outdoorsy, and feels like a little hidden slice of paradise."

Veronika Trifonova

"Before going to the park we did read some reviews. Opposite of what many said the staff was very friendly. It is low season that could be a the reason for it.
The springs are beautiful and the water was very refreshing. We did not camp we stayed for the day.
The pros:
- The beauty of the springs
- Reasonable prices
- Everything can be done walking
- The bathrooms were relatively well cleaned if you take in consideration the amount of people there.

Cons:
- If you are looking for relaxing and listen to nature’s sound forget. In every corner you will find a family/ group listening to reggaeton as loud as they can.
- Bring your own snacks. There are a couple of food trucks but the food was not very appealing.

Don’t forget to bring water shoes. It can be a plus to enjoy all the park has to offer. Apart from the noise and the smoke smell this park is worth a visit. There is no lifeguard on duty in any of the 6 springs."
