Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the incredibly clear, cool water and the relaxing tubing experience down the Ichetucknee River. The park's natural beauty, abundant wildlife, and family-friendly atmosphere are frequently praised. Some find the food prices steep and weekends can be very crowded, but most agree the drive is worth it for the stunning springs.

"Did this during the week as I heard weekends were extremely busy and it was so worth the it. Took myself and two kids and did an hour float down the river. This was a first time experience for all of us and we truly enjoyed the experience and the day. If we didn’t have a two and a half hour drive back we would have taken advantage of a second run down the river.
During the week parking was plentiful. It does take some time to get the tubes. I do recommend going online ahead of time and filling out the waivers. Once that was completed it’s a short walk to the entry point then nothing but floating and enjoying the water. At the end of the river a shuttle will pick everyone up and bring you back to the entry point. We could have gone for another run, however our drive back home seemed to become more important.
My suggestion would be to get there when it opens and enjoy a few runs.
There is a small park entrance fee at the main gate and the cost of the tubes is very reasonable; however, food prices are pretty steep so packing food is suggested. Hope you enjoy just as much as we did."

"Loved this place! We drove 3 hours from Savannah, Georgia just for the clear springs and it was so worth it! The water is crystal clear and nice and COLD!!! But once you get in it feels amazing! They had tons of picnic tables, bathrooms, a playground, a food truck, and even a little store, if you forgot any essentials. Plenty of parking! We had two people in the car so it was $6 to enter the gate but besides that, we didn’t have to pay for anything. They have canoes, tubes, and so much more you can reserve easily on their website! It’s best to reserve the day before if possible. They have a nice place to swim and then a walk down is a blue hole you can jump in and swim in as well! I saw some dogs there so it’s dog friendly but there are some areas where they aren’t allowed to be as well. There were park rangers at the entrance of the swimming area and they were very helpful and answered any questions! Larger floats are not allowed in the springs but noodles and smaller floats are allowed! Very pleased with our visit and would totally come back again!"

Apocalypse Baker

"One of the best springs around for families! And don’t skip the hiking trails at the north entrance, either! You can bring your dog on them! There’s also restroom facilities everywhere you turn, more than one gift shop/store and even a playground right near the main spring head on the north side so kids can get out and warm up periodically! Phenomenal experience all around! There was also lots of picnic tables in the shade and even a food truck!"
