Hello Hillsboro community! I just moved from Madison, WI to start a job here. I live near the Orenco station and am wondering if there are any isolated running trails/paths around. I love running and am spoilt by miles of running/bike paths around the lakes back in Madison and…

Advice appreciated - potential opportunity in Hillsboro (Thermo)
Hello, I might have an opportunity to work in Hillsboro at Thermo Fisher Scientific, 5350 NE Dawson Creek Drive building, in an analyst role. It would likely be a hybrid arrangement so I would need to commute to work maybe twice a week or so. I would like to seek some advice…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Dawson Creek Park for its peaceful atmosphere and abundant waterfowl, making it a delightful spot for nature observation and leisurely walks. The interconnected ponds and surrounding greenery offer a serene escape. Some note the lack of restrooms and the presence of bird droppings as minor drawbacks.
"Such a peaceful park for admiring waterfowl. They are pretty calm and friendly with people. Might hiss at you when you’re too close, but no harm in general. Especially in the spring time, many Canada goose families bring new life, however Cackling geese bring bird flu and death. Better not walk dogs here considering bird poop everywhere on the ground just in case."

"Great park to walk around and enjoy the wildlife. Partly on Hillsboro library and First Tech credit union land. Birds are curious, water features are nice but are not 100% natural (there is circulation though), and huge Rhodie's. Park on the north side to gain access to the park paths, or enter and exit through the library. No restrooms for the park, but the library has some limited facilities to use. Sprinklers run in the evening so be careful if you want to sit and watch the sunset."

"A wonderful park. Give yourself at least an hour to fully explore as it's reasonably large when you consider walking all of the paths. Some beautiful streams and seats to sit and enjoy the peacefulness. Plenty of birds and ducks to enjoy also. Pop into the library next door to pick up a book beforehand! Check out my pics of the area to get an idea of the beauty here!"
