The nearby Arlington Hotel adds a layer of historical intrigue, with its rumored hauntings and gangster connections.
"We parked beside the Arlington / Meter parking but was free on the Sunday morning we visited. Crossed the street and checked out the two flowing springs. Folks were drinking the super hot water with a plastic spoon, taking selfies, walking dogs, and throwing coins in like it was a wishing well. The people visiting were a 1 star but the park & springs is free and you should stop by and marvel at this treasure. The water was hot around 140°F so I couldn’t leave my hand in long enough to get the trash someone dropped in. Don’t litter."
