What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
SunWest Park is praised as a refreshing, family-friendly spot with a unique man-made beach and a fun aqua park. Visitors appreciate the calm, warm lake waters and the option for wakeboarding. However, some find the sand less soft than natural beaches, and the presence of yellow flies can be a significant deterrent for others.
"Sun West park is a hidden gym. On this particular outing I was enjoying the yearly Scallop and music fest. I was amazed at how clean and beautiful the park was. I was even more blown away when I saw all of the water attractions they had as well. If you looking for somewhere to take your family on one of those hot Florida weekends, make sure you check out this amazingly refreshing relaxation spot."

"Fun little spot that's great for kids. Wish the sand was softer to be able to anchor canopies/shades. But salt water with no waves to knock little kids over was awesome. And the inflatable course was really fun!"

"I wouldn’t consider this a “beach”. It’s a spring fed lake but the water is pretty warm (end of July so understandable) and not spring cold like I thought it would be. I was in town visiting and decided to try it out because it was one of the closest “beaches” to me. It was nice for an hour only two other people out here but not like the ocean where you get a lot of sea breeze. The swim area is pretty small but fine just for what I needed while I waited for my hotel to be ready. All in all it’s very nice but I prefer a actual beach :)
Cost is $5"
