"Anclote is a beautiful island to take your family for a picnic, or just a walk on the beach. There is easy access to pull a boat rite up to the beach. all along the Gulf side and on the north and south ends. There is also a ferry boat that brings people to the south end. I hear it is very affordable. It's definitely a must if you live around the area. There is also great fishing around the island."

"Camping here for the night was such a treat! The sites are far apart and great for a little privacy while you enjoy time with family or friends. The nature and wildlife is beautiful eith wonderful trails and even a suspension bridge to explore. We saw alligators and all kinds of amazing plants. They do have canoes and kayaks for rent as well!
Clean showers and a washer and dryer if you need it. Great stay, very fun for my whole family and very affordable for a primitive campground."
