Yesterday Friday September 27 at Heckscher Museum of Art was the opening reception for the 2024 Long Island Biennial “The Body Politic.” It was a very nice turnout. I love seeing what themes and topics other artists are addressing. They get me inspired and all fired up to research and paint. Thank you @heckschermuseum for this wonderful opportunity. The exhibit runs through January 19, 2025. #heck...

"Nice small museum located in a beautiful park. I enjoyed the exhibition "Embracing the Parallax: Berenice Abbott and Elizabeth McCausland," focusing on the 1939 book Changing New York. McCausland was also Abbott's lifelong romantic partner and this exhibition is part of the 2025 Pride Initiative of the Heckscher Museum."
