What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Casa Marina Hotel offers a historic beachfront experience with Spanish-style architecture and direct ocean access. While many appreciate its charm and location, potential guests should be aware of recurring issues with noise, particularly from the bar, and occasional concerns regarding room cleanliness. Management follow-up on issues has also been noted as inconsistent.
"If you’re looking for a nice and relaxing stay, this is not the place. The receptionist was incredibly laid back in a non-professional way. We killed two roaches in our room. The shower pressure was almost nonexistent. It’s very noisy - even up until 3 a.m. This is more of a bar/hangout spot - not somewhere you’d want to book for vacation. We left in less than 24 hours."

"Casa Marina is a stunning blend of historic charm and oceanfront beauty. The perfect backdrop for a wedding. As both a coordinator and officiant, I love how seamlessly everything flows here, and the staff is always so kind and supportive. Truly a dream venue for couples and vendors alike!"

"DO NOT RESERVE ROOM #213 IF YOU STAY HERE, DO NOT GET DUPED INTO IT. I REPEAT DO NOT RESERVE ROOM #213.
We stayed in room #213 on July 18th, 2025
Casa Marina is a beautiful, historic property with undeniable charm. The architecture and setting are lovely, and the breakfast was a pleasant addition—simple but enjoyable.
The Property is charming the bar staff and the general hotel staff is good as well. The beach access is wonderful.
However, our stay was unfortunately marred by several issues. When we checked in, we were told we’d been “upgraded” to Room 213, a suite we hadn’t requested. What we weren’t told is that this room is located directly beneath the bar. The noise above us continued until nearly 5:00 a.m., making sleep next to impossible.
To make matters worse, the room—although not filthy—was noticeably dirty. I’m attaching photos to give future guests a clearer picture of the condition. For a hotel of this reputation and price point, we expected far better.
We raised our concerns with the front desk the next morning. The staff member was cordial and said the manager (who was out of town) would call us. That never happened. We’ve since called three more times and still haven’t received a response.
This hotel has great potential, but a sleepless night, poor room cleanliness, and a lack of accountability from management left us with a very disappointing experience. If you decide to stay here, I strongly suggest asking about room location (avoid 213), and be prepared in case something goes wrong—because follow-up may not happen.
We are being repetitive I know, But one more time if Casa Marina tries to host you in room #213 dont walk, RUN!!!!!"
