"One of the most scenic views in Rhode Island. Love this special state park, with the trails and coast line. Lighthouse,museum, and aquarium, along with great fishing from the rocks. Careful not to slip and be sure to keep an eye on the tides if you are fishing close to the water. The waves here are so nice to watch and hear, especially during storms. Fun to go to the sailboat race around the island and to see all the people and boats. Plenty of parking here. Great stop on the bike tour. Love exploring all the pools and lagoons within the rocks. Dog friendly so they can explore too, but please keep on leash. Thank you to all the staff that make this park so special."

It’s the kind of place that feels calming the moment you arrive. The lighthouse adds such a nice touch to the scenery, and there are plenty of spots to sit, take photos, or just enjoy the view. What I love most about Beavertail is how simple and relaxing it is. No big crowds, no noise, just pure ocean beauty. It’s perfect for a quiet walk, a picnic, or even just clearing your head by the sea. I’m definitely coming back again."
