Another Day… Another Glimpse We drove from Salt Lake City to Dinosaur National Monument, visited the Fossil Quarry, hiked the Discovery Trail, drove the Cub Creek Scenic Road with all its overlooks and pull outs, set up our Roofnest at Green River Campground and enjoyed watching the sun set. [Question] Seeking recommendations for Dinosaur attractions in Utah

I'll be visiting Utah this Spring and would love to hit up the coolest and most excellent dinosaur sites. I'm an adult, so not looking for kids stuff - would love to see fossils, exhibits, footprint sites, etc. Thanks !

Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the incredible fossil displays, especially the wall at the Quarry Exhibit Hall, and the engaging Fossil Discovery Trail. Many highlight the unique opportunity to see dinosaur bones in situ and ancient petroglyphs. Some disappointment arises when the Quarry Exhibit Hall is closed for renovations, but the trail itself is still considered highly worthwhile.

"It was excellent. The rock wall was closed for renovations. However the fossil trail was great. The vertebrae of a long neck dinosaur was easily visible. Plus other fragments and pictographs-very well worth doing. Just have to visit again to see the rock wall. 😜"

Michele Hancock

"Awesome hike. I'd recommend riding the shuttle up and hiking down. We saw fossils, petroglyphs, and lots of lizards. Don't forget water & sunscreen. It's a short hike, but 100% direct sun."

Amanda Monahan

"Short hike well worth skipping the shuttle back to the visitor center. The trail is all down hill and can be as short as .7 miles if you skip the side trails. But why skip the side trips? That’s where most of the interesting stuff is. Adding the side trips turns the total distance to about 1.2 miles. If the day is hot bring water and sunscreen."
