"It was a great walkway to have a walk from Hoboken all the way to Edgewater and then I led myself into Fort Lee."

"We went to the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway twice – once during the day and once in the evening.
It was especially beautiful in the evening. During the day, it was over 36 degrees Celsius, really hot. But in the evening, it cooled down, and it was great for a walk. It was quiet, the water gently lapped, and the view of Manhattan – with all its lights – was truly impressive. There were a lot of joggers out and about, but it was totally relaxed.
What's also cool: There are many cafés, bars, and rooftops along the walk. You can just sit down, have a drink, and enjoy the view.
During the day, we often went near Exchange Place. There are shady spots to sit there. We often ate our bagels there.
So it's a really beautiful place – whether you want to jog, walk, or just take a short break."
