What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Bottle Works Ethnic Arts Center for its vibrant showcase of local art, unique gift shop, and engaging events like HeXenfest. The tribute to comic artist Steve Ditko is a standout feature, and the rooftop garden offers beautiful views. While the building is old and undergoing renovations, the artistic spirit and community focus shine through.
"WOW, this place is beyond amazing. Artist Studios, a shop that sells local artists works, gallery space, event space too.
Outside is a gazebo event space, inside a huge gallery open space, and on the roof a nice space with great views.
Into Spiderman? The artist who drew him lived in Johnstown as a young person. They have a huge exhibit with great artifacts from his personal collection. And host con events around his Marvel Comics.
If you see nothing else in town, this is the place to visit."

"A place for artists of all types. The classes are always something to check out. There's a variety, quilting, jewelry, painting, community service. The gift shop isn't really that. All things are hand made by local artists in a wide variety of mediums. Try it, you'll love it!"
