"Amazing place to relax and set back in time. They done an incredible job of restoring the farmhouse and providing details on the way things were different in the daily lives back then. They have 40 acres now I believe and they started farming some of it to sell back to the community. We help out on the race here every year and just love visiting!!"

"Enjoyed the period story reading and encampment. The period actors are very friendly. Great educational. Only partially wheelchair accessible in the house. If you cad do 1-2 steps you can see most of it. Very interesting architectural displays."

Alies Dalton

"They have a real working garden filled with heirloom plants. The garden is worked by local MU Extension Master Gardeners who are eager to answer gardening questions. The house was interesting and our tour guide gave us many historical tidbits. Quite a few hands-on activities so it's great place to visit for kids too. They also sell fantastic honey that comes from bees on the property. A great free Saturday afternoon activity."
