Concerns are also raised about the cemetery's organization and the difficulty of navigating the grounds without disturbing graves. However, it remains a place for families to visit and remember their loved ones.
"Came for a visit at my brother gravesite to find out they have mess up his grave and changed his metal plate name to other grave site while doing the lawn. Very disrespectful. Any responsible party?"
Beca Hertel
"My mother recently died. My brother and I visited Magnolia Cemetery today for ideas of what kind of headstone we want to design for her. This cemetery is dirty, crowded, graves stacked in a haphazard way, and totally disorganized. There are no walking paths between the rows of graves. There is no way to walk around without walking over graves which I have been taught my entire life is disrespectful. A very sad place."
Yvonne Pittman
"My baby is buried here and even when following the contract regarding decor, our stuff still gets taken from his gravesite.
The cemetery sent out cemetery wide notices 4 years ago to notify everyone they had until a certain date to remove noncompliant decor otherwise it would be removed and trashed. Since then, no notices have been sent and our compliant decor has still been removed."
