What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Mountain Point Snorkeling Beach for its unique Alaskan marine life and excellent guided tours. The provided wetsuits are a major plus, ensuring comfort despite the cold water. While some find the experience brief due to cruise ship schedules, the efficiency and knowledge of the guides make it a highly recommended and memorable activity.
"Snorkel Alaska was such an awesome excursion while in Ketchikan! It was a rainy day but that didn’t stop us. You can see crabs, fish, jellyfish, urchins and more - the water is unbelievably clear! I was apprehensive about the temperature but the wetsuits keep you well insulated. Tour guides explain in depth about all the creatures you see. All around a fantastic and unique experience for a quick stop off a cruise ship. I only had a 4 hour stop and made it there and back comfortably."

"Awsome experience! I highly recommend this for anybody on a cruise. Fred & his 2 guides were very helpful, patient & reassuring. Most of all very knowledgeable.
Dont worry about being late for your ship, they haven't missed one yet!
Dont forget to bring $ for a tip!"

"Absolutely the perfect team to take you snorkeling! They had 7mm wet suits, they were perfect, almost to warm for the beautiful day we had. The team were friendly, informative, made you feel comfortable and welcomed. My wife and I had snorkel before, but any 1st timers will do great here. I can’t say it enough, this team was great. A definite redo when we come back to Ketchikan. We snorkeled right off the shore, saw lots of starfish, fish, jellyfish, crabs, sea urchins, and more. Melody and Hendo were amazing guides.
Make sure and book them directly! Don’t go anywhere else to book! Best price and service. Plus, they’ll get you back to your cruise ship, no problem."
