"Worth the hike from the Westin Villas if you’re anything like me and needed to get away from all the families with their loud children playing in all 4 pools. Water was cooler being on the North Side of Kauai but crystal clear and even depth at least 50 feet out. I wore hiking boots up and down the steep red clay path 1 day after a lot of rain and only slipped twice on the clay. I found it best to step on debris rather than the wet red clay itself for surer footing.
If you’re looking for a nude beach opportunity, they don’t get much better than this very secluded beach!"

"We hiked down from The Westin Resort in Prineville. At the resort you can drive up and park then hike down this trail that is about 10 minute walk down. We were staying at an Airbnb in that area. It was an easy walk and it opens up to the beach. We called it the "secret beach" cause of the way you walk down into it and our 5 year old called it that. It was perfect place for our 5 year old to hang out in the water. The older kids did snorkeling. The water was perfect temp in July. The whole place was great. Nobody was around but us. No waves, nothing crazy just IDEAL."
