Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Narrows of the Harpeth for its stunning natural beauty, particularly the scenic overlooks and the unique waterfall created by the historic tunnel. The park offers a good mix of hiking and water activities, making it a versatile destination. While generally well-maintained, some note that river conditions can be unpredictable due to fluctuating water levels.

"Cooler temps made the Bluff Trail easier (do it FIRST - it’s a 470 foot elevation), and we enjoyed our hike on all three trails at the Narrows of the Harpeth. Plan on going back to do Gossett Tract and Hidden Lake. Dogs allowed on leash. Drive slow on narrow roads in/out. Portable potty available. Support our parks!"

J Smith

"Upon arrival there is a decent sized parking area with a few, very, very well kept Porta-Potties beside a nice rock formation. The signs clearly direct you to the hiking trails as well as give a few details. The views at every spot are amazing. I cannot wait to put-in my kayak here at a future date. The waters are brisk but not terrible and the trails are good for any skill level, leaving the last part of "The Bluff Trail" as the most difficult, clearly marked with a red badge. The views are stunning, almost unreal. Opens a person's eyes to why the Indians thought these lands were so precious. It's a site a person can definitely see and enjoy, more than once."

Michael Richardson

"Plenty of parking and the trails are easily accessible. The kayak ramp is across from the lot making for easy drop in. Be sure to hike the bluff before you go down to the narrows. The bridge trail was kind of disappointing."
