"I visited Ijams nature Center twice now once on a weekday and once on the weekend and both were pleasant experiences. I’ve hiked down to the Riverwalk and it is a beautiful scene took my dog down and he absolutely loved it. Also hiked up to the other side Where you can zip line. The park is dog friendly and not too busy. The trees gave lots of shades so it wasn’t too hot. But make sure you stretch before you hit the hill. Lots of cool exhibits along the walk and things to read and see. Will definitely recommend this place for a nice casual walk with a challenge to it."
