Visitors consistently praise Dollywood for its beautiful landscaping, friendly atmosphere, and delicious Southern food, especially the cinnamon bread. Many appreciate the variety of rides for all ages and the engaging live entertainment. However, some guests find the ride durations to be short relative to the wait times, which can be a point of frustration.
"Where else could you find an authentic wooden roller coaster, one of the largest bald eagle sanctuaries in the world and take a ride on one of 2 fully operational coal powered trains from WWII...ONLY in DOLLYWOOD!
Known as much for her vivacious vocals as for her volumptuous va-va-voom, the iconic Dolly Parton is arguably age-defying as the Queen of Country Music. If Nashville is her stage, Sevierville is her court to showcase all things Dolly! From her legendary Cinnamon Bread to live music and exciting rides for all ages, the vastness of the venue is a nod to the vastitude of her storied career!
Even as the sun sets, the entire park comes to life, illuminated in dazzling lights, the DOLLYWOOD sign set in the hills above the park and the brilliance of Dolly's signature butterflies!
We were there for Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas which featured Dolly's animated tale of the Wildwood Tree, a story filled with glowing wonder! Then we strolled through a walkway of musically choreographed lights and even caught a glimpse of a few surprise characters popping out and about for photo ops!
Like Dolly herself, Dollywood doesn't look a day over fabulous. The park is clean and polished; it's clear Dolly prioritizes maintaining the park in pristine condition. You'd never guess it's celebrating 40 years with new expansions and attractions in the works!
We aren’t amusement park fans, so we arrived with minimal expectations. When we left, we were already planning a return visit!
Over the decades, Dolly has proven her timeless appeal...and the Lady knows her audience!"

"We love going to Dollywood! We live 3.5hrs away so its not to far of a drive for a quick trip. We got season passes this year and they are good until Jan 2027! The rides are great (we love roller coasters) The food is awesome and Aunt Grannys is our go to! The prices are not bad for a theme park🩷🩷🩷"
