What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Neyland Stadium offers an electric atmosphere and iconic traditions, making it a memorable destination for Tennessee Vols games and even concerts. While the bleacher seating can be less comfortable and food options are average, the passionate crowd and overall gameday experience are consistently praised.
"I've been here for multiple Vols games. The stadium is right on campus and within walking distance of the Cumberland Ave strip and downtown Knoxville.
I think they do a good job of getting people through the gates quickly, given the seating capacity. There was a small backup for us, but it moved fast.
They now serve beer, which is a new change within the last 7-8? years? I'm not sure when that happened, but it's great. They've also updated the bathrooms, from what I can tell, which was sorely needed.
The games are fun, of course, especially when UT is winning. The stadium has mostly bleacher seating, which isn't the most comfortable, so don't expect to be lounging in the lap of luxury unless you want to pay a premium for it."

"First time at the stadium for a UT game...wow how amazing it was. Plenty of staff to help find your seat, offsite parking and shuttle was so easy, and the facilities were great. Plenty of restrooms near the seats, food and drink was a breeze and what an atmosphere! Can't wait for the next game!"
Robert Palmer
"Last game I went to, peanuts were 50 cents and a beer was $3.50 not even gonna say how much now. Yikes!
Game was pleasant. Seen some homeless people walking on the top of the stadium, which is strange. Stairs could use hand rails. All in all, memorable experience."
