What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally praise Thompson-Boling Arena for its excellent concert lineups and the energetic atmosphere during Tennessee Volunteers basketball games. The staff and security are often described as friendly and helpful, contributing to a positive experience. However, parking can be a significant challenge, and some find the arena's acoustics less than ideal for musical performances compared to dedicated concert halls.
"WWE Smackdown was fantastic here! Good seats, good food, friendly staff/security! Parking was a little tough but there were baseball games & WWE so it was packed out! #CenaFarewellTour #CodyRhodes #4Letters #1Word #YEEEEET"
Brandon Gist
"It was so difficult parking. We asked several people directing traffic whose directions were vague and the lots were full when we finally arrived. We went to one garage that said prepaid parking only. After 30 minutes online of trying to find out how to pay, we finally parked for free (bonus and why 4 stars) and rode the shuttle in. The acoustics for a musical venue were about what you expect from a gym. The people inside the venue were wonderful and helpful. I would go to a game there but stick to an actual theater for my future concerts."

"If you're a #VFL "aka" Hugh Tennessee Fan this is the pace to be!! Anything from Concerts to Special Events, views are excellent and everything from food to drinks is convenient where you sit!!"
