What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Victor Ashe Park is a beloved community space, praised for its excellent disc golf course, diverse recreational facilities like sports fields and trails, and scenic lake. Visitors appreciate the ample green space and dog park. However, some note that parking can be scarce during events and restroom cleanliness could be improved.
"This is a great park, we visited for the disc golf course.
The course is a park-style course with a mix of open shots, wooded shots, and low ceiling shots.
We played the shorts, which are honestly going to be quite tough for a beginner or lower arm speed player. There are several 400+ foot par 3s, and many in the 280-350 range. I can't speak to the long layout, as I didn't play it.
The largest drawback to the course is that there is a lot of walking between tee pads. Hole 18 does finish near the parking lot, though.
Beyond disc golf, this is a great park with tons of space and features. Would definitely visit again."

"Beautiful park! A lot of shaded area which is nice on hot days. Quite a few people out on the trail. The bathrooms are really smelly and not very clean, just fyi. Playground is pretty small. But it is beautiful for walking and nice soccer fields."

"Victor Ashe Park is great for walking, playing disc golf, football, soccer and volleyball. There’s a dog park area as well. You can get a good 3 mile circuit walk/run/jog/bike with connecting trail around middle school. There’s also a skate park near school. There’s a pretty lake for fishing or relaxing. There is also a natural path around parts of the park. It becomes grass and a little hard to follow but goes through a nice wooded area near the entrance to the park."
