"We visited Colt Creek State Park on Sunday evening to explore the park and take a walk within it. The park is approximately 30 minutes from where we live. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a park ranger.After paying the entrance fee, we received the park map.
We visited the pier located inside the park, an excellent spot to witness both sunset and enjoy fishing activities within the park. The pier also offers picnic benches and grills convenient for camping and meal preparation. While on the pier, we spotted an alligator.
In addition to a horse ranch, the park also offers camping facilities. We visited during the evening, which provided the opportunity to see deer roaming and eating.
Overall, we enjoyed our visit to the state park. It offered a variety of places to explore and enjoy the environment within the park."

"Nice park Sites are all level and large enough for any RV Not much shade though. Bathhouse is like new. 2 dump stations. Small lake to paddle on 15 miles of trails for hiking. Plenty of paved area and trails to ride bikes. Will definitely be back"
