"This is a great place for a nice walk, jog, bike ride, run etc.. it used to be a good place for fishing but the lake is all dried up now due to construction and all… it’s still beautiful scenery if you walk onto the fishing dock and check out all the trees with the small stream still running through… you can hear the bird chirping in the background… definitely a very calm natural area to check out! Lots of people take professional pictures here as well!"

"New to the area - this is the cleanest park we've seen so far. Boat ramp /surrounding banks w/ broken liquor bottles, beer cans. Unfortunate. Visitor center staff member was friendly and helpful - provided a schedule of events which look interesting . Restroom dated but very clean. Lake was drained for maintenance. (time to clear out the rubbish mebbe? ) Good distance from road, so fairly quiet. Skipped the sports field side and walked two habitat areas - listed about 20 bird species."
