Today the Michigan Police Unity Team stopped in Park Township during their Thin Blue Line Shoreline Memorial Ride. Over four days, more than 40 law enforcement officers and loved ones of fallen officers will ride 360 miles to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Our very own Deputy Kimber is part of this great cause, and we are so proud of her! #memorialride #fallenofficer

"These men and women gave their lives protecting each of us. These are sons and daughters. Fathers and mothers. Husbands and wives. In my case, my grandfather.

Now I know why my mom didn’t want me to find a job in law enforcement. It’s because of grandpa!!

They were drawn to be public servants."
