"I recently took the guided tour and really enjoyed everything about it. I got to meet three of the docents and they were all friendly and welcoming. They love the history of the building and enjoy sharing their knowledge. I had my little dog with me and one of the docents (Brenda) sat with Juni while I took the tour. I recommend that you tour the Opera House, or, better yet, see a show. There were no shows scheduled during my brief time in Leadville."

"As an opera and history nerd, this was the highlight of my trip to Leadville! I have been in love with The Ballad of Baby Doe since college and I was so happy to learn the true stories of Augusta, Horace, and Baby Doe during my tour. I was sad to not be able to see Baby Doe’s cabin during my trip because it was closed for the season, but this tour more than made up for it.
I even got to sing a little bit of the opera in the house itself, which was such a treat!
