"Chickasawhatchee trails on the Calhoun County side were great today. Not too bad for early spring. Migrating warblers and Vireos were starting to sing. Plenty of sparrows. But I came for the butterflies. It started slow but picked up.
Like a typical Wildlife Management Area, you use it for the wildlife. No frills, no bathroom, no benches, pure nature. I can’t speak for hunters but this park is great for birds and butterflies."
