Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Peachtree Rock Heritage Preserve for its unique geological formations and the refreshing coastal plain waterfall. It's a great spot for a short visit or a longer hike, with many enjoying the sandy trails and natural beauty. However, some reviewers note that trail markings can be poor, leading to potential disorientation on less-traveled paths.
"If I'm bring honest the waterfall and the rock formations were beautiful. This was a short walk from the parking area. Stunning area. The area beyond the rocks needs to be closed. We ended up 3 miles from the parking area on an abandoned airport. Had to call the Lexington sheriff's department to get us out of there. Trails are poorly marked beyond the waterfall"

"Great place to hike! My pups sure enjoyed it as well. What’s nice is there’s so many different trails to explore, so you can either spend a whole day out there or if you have little ones you can take them to see the waterfall and spend just a couple hrs there. It’s now been my 3rd time back and I have yet to explore everything!"

"The path is very clear. The waterfall was shaker than I anticipated but still very neat and refreshing in the 95°day. I didn't make it all the way into the stone because if said hear but will be returning soon."
