Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the park for its profound historical significance and the well-presented exhibits at the Bradbury Science Museum. The opportunity to see where the atomic bomb was developed is described as awe-inspiring. Some note that many original buildings are gone, but the remaining sites and knowledgeable volunteers offer a compelling glimpse into this pivotal moment in history. Reddit

"It's absolutely beautiful and full of fish, turtles, insects, and birds. The landscaping is well done with plenty of flowers and water features. There was also a good amount of shade to retreat into when the sun is shining in that New Mexico way. It appeared clean, easy to navigate for those with mobility issues, and there were a decent amount of benches around and places to sit and catch your breath. I also found parking easy despite there being a few events taking place."

Sara Tunick

"We love history, and this was awestriking. There is a self guided tour of a couple of sites. Houses Oppenheimer and someone else lived in. I'd suggest to get the best experience, speak to one of the volunteers in the Visitor center. We had someone who really knew his history and it gave me cold chills. On Mondays, the main museum was closed so I don't have any comments."

Carol Weintraut

"How could you miss this!? One of the biggest moments in history happened right there in Los Alamos. Must see. The brain power that came and still comes through this place is mind boggling."
