Reviews Summary
The Wiltern is celebrated for its stunning historic Art Deco architecture and excellent acoustics, making it a favorite venue for live music. Attendees appreciate the intimate atmosphere and the diverse range of artists. However, parking can be a significant challenge, and some find the surrounding urban environment a bit intimidating.
"Incredible sound. Great views from every seat. Good staff. Roomy lobby, bar areas, well set up merch areas. Second level had great views and sound and still felt close, plus the bar area behind the 2nd level has seating, couches, etc. bathrooms are not crowded. Beautiful historic building, too. We saw Lacuna Coil, In Flames and Machine Head in April. They all sounded great. Even the opener Unearth had great sound. The only downside was the crowd, a surprising lack of enthusiasm. That said, a great place to see a show!"

"One of the most beautiful art deco buildings I’ve seen. This theater really is a treasure. The great part is that the acoustics are good too.
Though the theater is clean and I did enjoy the concert, there are a few things I did not enjoy. First, they poured our beverages from the bar in janky paper cups. Bartender said managers were afraid that cans would be thrown. Carrying beverages like that was not optimal.
Second, the lady on the mezzanine was very aggressive about showing people their seats. I get it, some folks are dunce, especially when it comes to finding seats. That said, being in the front row of the upper balcony, it was like a constant parade of people going in front of us during the show. Very distracting.
Lastly, the seat I had was wholly uncomfortable. Springs digging into my backside was no fun.
Will return for further shows but with these lessons learned in mind."

"First time coming to this beautiful theater for a concert and probably not my last. I really liked it and the art deco of this building. Staff was also friendly, we really the bartender downstairs, he made us a really good drink."
