"Updated review June 2024: I came back on a whim, and I am glad I did. Very quiet museum with all the history of the area. Upstairs is the museum, downstairs is the old jail. Free admission, run on donations. I do recommend for anyone in the area.
Super cute museum detailing the history of the area. Part of it is upstairs where they sell books. The lady working when I visited stated they have limited hours, but could talk all day about the history. Downstairs, they have a mock up of what used to be the local jail with stories of repeat offenders and locals. It was all quaint and small town. I really got the feeling that the docent wished there were more to the museum and that more people came. It was just so special."
