These museums are getting lazier and lazier. This museum in Indy had an exhibition titled “The Truth of Freedom” where they displayed an AI “artist” Can’t even call them an artist, this was created with AI that is really just a stolen art generator. Whoever was in charge of curating this exhibition, hit me up, I can help you next time and save you the embarrassment from online 🤦🏾‍♂️ #art

I'm visiting Virginia tomorrow for about 3 days. What do you suggest are must do-s and must-sees?? We have 2 history-buffs, and a girlfriend each, making 4 of us! Would love tips or suggestions :) we do plan to stop by Washington DC, visit the tomb of the unknown soldier, and hopefully Jamestown

Here’s a list for you: 1. Mt Vernon 2. Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum 3. Bull Run/ Manassas National Battlefield 4. Charlottesville is a great place to visit, but it’s 2 1/2 hours from Alexandria, so not sure if that’s practical

"Worth stopping in. It is a small, intimate experience. There were 3 veteran volunteers there and they were all great to talk to.

No tickets are needed (free).

They have some interesting displays, including a Norden bomb sight.

This is a much better museum than the Mannansas museum a couple of blocks away."

"Super cute little museum with great history of all our Military branches."

"My mom and me found about this museum and went to visit it one day. It is amazingly detailed museum about American military history. I was very impressed by one gentleman, who I can only assume was a vet volunteering, who knew a lot of details about one of the displays.
And the displays were first class but also focused a lot on the Home Front which is a nice change of pace. I took lot of photos and learned a lot about local history as well. And the whole visit was very pleasant. It was amazing just how much they put into the space they had available!"
