"Booked our wedding here where we paid for the venue which was an arbor and a full service as you can see in the pic. When we arrived the tables were all sat out but we had to set them up the way we wanted them set up. We had to sweep up leaves and stuff before our event but didn’t think anything of it since there was a breeze. The event went well and at the end we tidied up a bit because we were under the impression that we had paid for a post event clean up. Since that was in the description we were given. We made sure everything got into trash cans and tried to sweep up most of the stuff left on the floor. To include the flower pedals and etc… so fast forward 20 days and we had heard nothing back regarding our event or the deposit so my mom called to check on it. They informed her that the place had been left a mess during some event and that they were reviewing the photos and would get back to her. Another week went by and no one had still reached out to us so my mom called back again only to be told that the clean up crew had arrived the following morning to a horrible disaster and it took them 4+ hrs to clean. So my mom requested the pictures. Those pictures are also attached. Now, looking at the pics you can see that everything made it to a trash can. And only a few last min pieces were not in bags. Some of the bags leaked. And we do feel bad about that but we can’t see anything that requires 4+ hrs of cleaning or our entire deposit. As you can see some of the pictures sent we were trying to figure out what the picture was showing. Especially since the package we selected included post event clean up. And the fact that they didn’t even reach out to us regarding the situation after the event or after my mom’s initial call about the deposit really shows a lack of profession of the staff of this place. I love history, I am a descendant of the Carson’s on my dads side of the family and my parents were married on the exact same property 20+ years prior. However, I’m afraid this is were it will end for us. I guess you have to make your money to keep it open some how. You are welcome for the donation. =\"
