"National Parks are a treasure of the US. This home of John Muir is like a little bit of Yosemite, since he was so connected to Yosemite and was instrumental in making it a park. There's a great movie, a nice Visitor Center and store, an interesting Victorian mansion, and a walk, which we did not have time to take. We will be back. "My girls live collecting the Jr ranger badges. We recently went thru Yosemite, and I thought it would be fitting to go see John Muir. The store has a lot of good items for sale, some i have never seen before at other parks. There is a 20-minute informational video before you step on the grounds. Then you can do the audio self guide with your phone. Regardless of whether you have kids or not, I would recommend asking for a Jr ranger book. It has questions and asks things that provoke thought and not know if we didn't have that. Loved visiting ♥️"
