What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Sloan Park is widely praised for its immaculate facilities, friendly staff, and classic ballpark atmosphere, making it a beloved spring training destination for Cubs fans. While the overall experience is highly positive, some visitors note that concession prices are steep and occasionally quality can be inconsistent, with long waits for popular items.
"First time attending spring training. Great facilities and heard their building even a bigger one with more facilities for women since the league has more participation by women these days. As in any ballpark, the prices are steep for food and drink so plan on on that but well worth it! We had seats right next to the dugout quite amazing!"
David Zahn
"Great park. Love getting my name on the mini scoreboard. Lots of food and drink choices. The best/biggest team shop in the league. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 is running out of Chicago dogs before the game. We waited 20min to get some. Never had that happen at any park."
Bob Powell
"Former Chicago resident who has visited the park 3 times! Great ballpark and great staff! However, Windy City concession stand leaves much to be disired😞 Paid $47.00 for two hotdogs, a pretzel, french fries and a coke! The hotdogs were barely warm and the buns were rock hard, as well as the pretzel, and fries! Sloan Park and or Windy City should be ashamed of themselves for the extremely poor quality.
On top of that, the Cubbies lost 5-1 to the Padres. Cub's lineup was mostly subs with Horner and Workman the only viable players on the field."
