"Plenty of pay to park spots. You can park here and walk all of downtown easily. The butte is a short vertical hike and will definitely get your heart rate going. Bring water and wear proper shoes that don't slip. There are some parts that are loose rocks. You'll do some rock scrambling to sit at the very top.
The way down is pretty steep and I was very careful not to fall. Thankful for the railings.
I wish the trash cans along the way were emptied more often."

"This place is more like a view point. It is a short hike to gain elevation to look at the ASU campus to the south and river park and city of Tempe to the North. Very good for morning walks. Pet friendly. Highly recommend when you are at the ASU campus, Tempe, AZ"

"Best spot around Tempe, lake nearby also Tempe down town is near by. Just go for quick short hike. Only problem is there are no free parkings around. Be aware and look for park payments before you park your car"
