"They have some animals that weren't there last winter. The zoo is halfway under construction. The price is very good, under $10. Military personnel and children get discounts, which is even better. Today there was a really cool train ride, with a man explaining and talking a little about the animals. It seemed exciting. I don't know if it's because I went during the animals' sleeping hours. I found the animals very sad. I felt bad seeing them, even though I like zoos. I know they are well cared for and many were born inside the zoo. But stations like the penguin station are really sad to see. The kids love them, but I think that definitely as an adult, the zoo trip becomes something more dramatic and reflective.

"A beautifully maintained park. Even during the current construction in the park, the Park District keeps everything tip-top and looking beautiful. There are several playground areas for kids, multiple pavilions for cookouts, and lots of open space for anyone looking to lay in the grass and watch the clouds roll by. The walking trails are well up-kept and there is an amphitheater and seating set up for those looking to practice there theatrics. There is also several public docks for the sportsmen looking to cast a line out. A great place to stretch your legs and enjoy the outdoors! Minot Parks District does a great job!"

"Reasonably priced and nice small zoo with plenty to see and do. Do you like to feed animals..well you can feed sheep, goats, ducks and other animals at select times for a fee. I recently spent three hours and enjoyed every minute of it. Definitely a nice zoo to visit multiple times. Friendly staff, though they could be more informative. Will be going back again in the future."
