"This is a beautiful village. So many historical buildings painstakingly assembled on location. They have a farmers market every Saturday with crafts, home made foods, and bluegrass music in the pavilion. I highly recommend visiting and supporting the hard work of the curators and the lovely folks that make this all possible."

"The Carl J. McEwen Historic Village in Mint Hill is a step back in time right here in our town. They have restored a Country Doctor’s Office, a one room schoolhouse, a Country Store with Gas Station and the Gold Assay office where miners brought their ore to see if they had struck it rich!! They also have other village buildings like the blacksmith shop, corn crib, Woodwright shop, mill, and meat curing building. A step back in time for sure. It was a good visit ☺️"
