"We spent a wonderful day there. They have a small museum, very quaint, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We hiked most of the trail with our toddler who loved it. We came across families on the hike, as well as adults & seniors. We wished we had mosquito repellent at the start of the hike near the creek, but the further away from the creek we were, the less mosquitos were around. If you love nature and have 2 hours to do as you please, this would be a good way to spend some time outoodrs with family, kids, friends, or alone. And its free, with free parking."

"Enjoyed the beautiful morning checking out Stevens Creek Nature Preserve. My grandson SO enjoyed the touch tank looking through rocks and searching for treasures. The aquarium tanks were very interesting. We didn’t go very far on the trail but made it to the creek. It’s a really nice area and feels peaceful except for the constant sound of 485 traffic, which can’t be helped in this location. There were some nature lovers milling about and a child’s birthday party going on. The kids from the party were hoping to get to be able to touch a snake! Yikes."
