The knowledgeable staff and volunteers enhance the experience, making it a highly recommended destination for nature lovers. However, be prepared for mosquitoes, especially during morning visits, as they can significantly impact comfort.

"Absolutely amazing. I am coming back again and again. The staff and volunteers are so welcoming and knowledgeable. We saw everything! Butterflies, moths, birds, spiders, scorpions!"

"Beautiful grounds with tons of butterflies as well as many birds, dragonflies, and other insects and plants and trees."

Cheri Freeman

"It is not very big park designed as a shelter for butterflies.
You can see some extra species in spring and autumn.
For me it appeared to be rather a mosquito center, so please take some repellent with you. I didn’t have such mosquito attacks in decades.
There are some local birds as well and a big turtle Spike.
It is better to come early in the morning when butterflies are not so active.
For me it took about 3 hours to walk through most trails. If not mosquitos I’d stay some more time in the shade trying to get pictures of butterflies."
