What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the Davis Theatre's beautiful historic architecture and the diverse range of performances it hosts, offering a charming step back in time. However, some find the venue's navigation, particularly the restrooms, and sound quality from certain seats to be less than ideal.
"A very nice old time theater, free parking, we had a wonderful evening!!! ✨"

"Went to hear the Vienna Light Symphony Orchestra . It’s a neat old building but a little interesting to navigate. There were very few staff and no one helped us find our seats. The ladies room is awkwardly down stairs, and by awkwardly I mean it’s somewhat difficult to navigate if there are 25 women in line because you have to come back up the stairs past others still waiting in line (2 way traffic). The stalls are too close to the sinks and that made for the awkward bathroom dance to get to wash and dry your hands.
Our seats were way up in the balcony, and while we had a somewhat unobstructed view of the stage (tall people in front of us) the sound was not good.
Loved the architecture and the decor, just not the navigation of this old time theater."

"We’ve visited twice. Once for the Nutcracker & once for the Tribute to the Showman. We got near front row seats both times. This is an absolute must. It really helps you enjoy the experience better.
But the old theater is beautiful & located downtown. With a little imagination, you feel like you’ve stepped back in time a little.
Parking is usually free in Troy University areas."
