What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Fosterfields for its immersive historical experience and friendly, knowledgeable staff. The opportunity to interact with farm animals and explore vintage buildings and vehicles is a major highlight. While some mention the mansion being closed for renovation, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many recommending it for families and history enthusiasts.
"Cool combination of the farm and green open spaces / fields as well as historical buildings and family transportation museum. Farm animals are present but they weren’t main draw of the visit. Although mansion is closed for renovation now, cottage as well as few other buildings were open. Short blue marked trail winds from the pond area through the woods to arched entrance of mansion’s road."

"This place was absolutely beautiful. So much history. The employees were extremely knowledgeable and so friendly. They wore clothing from 18 and 17 hundreds. The animals were well cared for and so friendly. We dyed silk and spun yarn and toured the homes and walked the property and picked pumpkins and pressed cider. We had such a lovely time. I would definitely recommend and do this again."
Laisha Etienne
"Loved it here! They have vintage baseball and other historical events on the grounds! Beautiful well maintained buildings and even a small farm! There’s heaps to do here and it’s entertainment for everyone!"
