What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Big Eau Pleine County Park for its beautiful scenery, extensive trail network for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, and peaceful camping atmosphere. The clean facilities and abundant wildlife are also highlights. "Held a family wedding in the pavilion on the west side. It's was magical. After the torrential rain and severe thunderstorms moved out the sunset was beautiful. The pavilion itself needs alot of work and some major cleaning. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean but lighting would be a welcome improvement. Overall it was a pleasant experience and many amazing memories were made."

"I stayed at the park for the first time in 25 years. It's still beautiful. Camped the west unit. Area was spacious and clean. The water fill at the ranger station is slow! 30 to 45 minutes to fill. Walking trails, horse trails and disk golf are great, very well kept. If you are going to mountain bike, they looked at little grown over, early in the year might be different. All in all it's a very nice facility. Outstanding service Marathon County Parks and Rec."

"Awesome park, has a ton of horse, walking and bike trails with a bunch of campsites and places for fishing. I saw a bunch of wildflowers and critters"
